Curry 5.0 Neuroscan Compumedics
CURRY 5.0 - True Multi-Modal Neuroimaging

Compumedics Neuroscan is pleased to announce the release of Curry 5.0 for Windows. This is the industry’s premiere, high-performance, source reconstruction tool for integrating EEG, MEG, and fMRI neuroimaging data. The software's advanced capabilities open up new frontiers in the rapidly advancing field of Multimodal Neuroimaging.

Source reconstruction options include dipole modeling, dipole scans, and current density reconstruction.

One of Curry's most powerful features is the capacity to create realistic head models based on individual anatomical information from either MRI and CT; no other commercially available package offers this function. The process of creating a realistic head model is highly optimized and automated so that even an individual boundary element model can be generated in under 3 minutes.

Spatio-temporal reconstruction results can be captured as AVI movies, making the inclusion into presentation media smooth and seamless.

Curry 5.0 operates under Windows XP and performs well even on laptops. It is oriented toward functional mapping of brain activity in a research context. However, the functionality and the evolutionary nature of Curry also make it suitable for wider applications.

Feature for feature, Curry 5.0 exceeds all other source reconstruction packages.
Specifications:
  • Integration of EEG, MEG, or ECoG with MRI, CT, fMRI, PET, SPECT.
  • Complete analysis of data leading to anatomically constrained source reconstruction.
  • Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for data analysis and filtering.
  • Realistic volume conductor models using the Boundary Element Method (BEM).
  • Precomputed Finite Element Method (FEM) and BEM volume conductor models included.
  • Dipole fits: dipole models include moving, rotating, regional, fixed, and MUSIC dipoles. The patented confidence ellipsoid method gives an estimate of the localization error.
  • Dipole scans, extended source (patch) scans, and MUSIC scans: scans can be performed for moving, rotating, regional, fixed, and MUSIC sources.
  • Current Density Reconstructions (CDR) based on dipolar or extended sources: CDR models includes minimum norm estimates (L2, L1, Lp norm, or sLORETA) and maximum smoothness constraints (LORETA). Functional/anatomical weighting constraints based on fMRI, PET, or SPECT are also implemented.
Configuration:
System Requirements:
- PC with Windows XP or Windows 2000
- 3D graphics hardware acceleration support
- Wheel mouse support
- High-resolution display support (min. 1280x1024)

For all Unix Curry customers, Curry 4.6 will remain available for purchase.
