NEW!! CURRY 6
Multi-Modal Neuroimaging
CURRY 6 integrates multiple complementary functional and image
modalities (EEG, ECoG, MEG; MRI, fMRI, PET, SPECT and CT) in a single
software package for the purpose of obtaining the maximum accuracy of
electrical source analysis. CURRY uses the full physical anatomy from MR and
CT to provide three-dimensional models of the skull and brain allowing the
neural generators of the topographic EEG to be computed. CURRY was developed
for mapping and identification of the neural generators of EEG and MEG
recordings. However, the functionality offered and the revolutionary changes
in this latest version CURRY also make it suitable for wider application,
including clinical applications in neurology, epilepsy and radiology.

NEW! Scan 4.4 Just released!
Compumedics/Neuroscan is pleased to announce the release of the latest
version of the Scan software package for EEG acquisition and analysis. Scan
4.4 was developed largely for users with MagLink RT systems, and it contains
the latest methods for removing gradient sequencing and ballistocardiogram
artifact.
Additional changes in Scan 4.4 include several new transforms, as well
as modifications to existing ones. Some of the new transforms have been
created from parts of the existing EKG Noise Reduction transform. This gives
greater control over how they may be used, and permit more general
applications aside from ballistocardiogram removal. The Scan 4.4 Release
Notes, included with the 4.4 installation, describe all of the changes since
4.3.1. |

Neuroscan is pleased to announce the patented
MagLink system for integrated EEG and ERP recordings inside the
fMRI. This second-generation system improves on the original Opti-Link
system by increasing the bandwidth and eliminated the pre-amplifier and
optical coupling. The passive MagLink system provides the ability to
record during the pulse sequence without compromising the raw EEG data.
MagLink in conjunction with Neuroscan amplifiers has successfully
recorded EEG data through the pulse sequence in up to 4 Tesla MRI scanners.
SCAN & TOOLBOX 2003 provide powerful new features for on-line and off-line
reduction and removal of the ballistocardiogram and pulse sequence artifact
while retaining the integrity of the EEG. Post-processing tools allow ERP's
to be extracted which can then be subjected to source localization and
compared with the fMRI.

STIM2 may be obtained in two configurations: A Software Only Package and
a Complete Hardware Solution. The primary differences between the two
configurations are response timing accuracy, audio file calibration, and
subject response options. The STIM2 Complete System user requires precise
control over SPL and/or a four-button response that sends response triggers
to the SCAN acquisition system. The STIM2 Software Only package will be
adequate, if the above is not a requirement. The fMRI compatible systems are
available for all versions. |

Base Configuration Description:
The SCAN NuAmps Express is a fully functional research grade 40 channel
digital EEG and ERP recording system, which utilizes the full power and
capabilities of SCAN. This system will allow you to record EEG and conduct
spectral analysis, coherence and topographic mapping. Evoked potentials (EP)
and event related potentials (ERP) can be recorded, averaged and processed
in real-time. Event related spectral analysis, coherence and time frequency
measures can be computed. Amplitude and latency measures, peak detection and
comparative statistics are provided. Additionally, SCAN provides a full
research grade data proceeding tool to remove noise and artifacts or
decompose complex signals. Please see the SCAN Features and Transform list
for the full capabilities of SCAN.
SCAN allows for automation of acquisition and data processing. Real time
scalp impedance measurement is included, ensuring fast and simple set up
times. All acquired data can be exported for subsequent analysis and a
direct import to MatLab is provided. |

SOURCE 5 is
an EEG and ERP source reconstruction tool with the critical features and
functions for dipole source solutions. SOURCE 5 is provided as a standalone
package which is cost effective and powerful. Further, it allows a natural
upgrade path to the most advanced source reconstruction using CURRY.
SOURCE 5 utilizes the same software code, computational
algorithms and interface design as the most advanced reconstruction package,
but provides a more efficient and straightforward workflow, by limiting the
features and options. Providing the critical source reconstruction tools
and a simple workflow to process data, SOURCE 5 maximizes
efficiency of both time and money.
This makes this software uniquely suitable for labs just learning source
reconstruction to advanced reconstruction labs that are looking for improved
workflow. Packed full of tools to increase efficiency and proficiency in
source reconstruction, MRI data import and display of results,
SOURCE 5 offers ease of use and maximal flexibility, more
information and more options than ever before. |

SOURCE is an easy to use tool for EEG/EP source
reconstruction that seamlessly integrates with the ESI and SCAN 4 software.
It uses the most highly optimized source algorithms to rapidly produce
dipole source reconstructions, and display the results in an MRI context.
Select from several dipole models (moving, rotating, fixed, RAP MUSIC, etc.)
and volume conductor models (three spherical shells, BEM and FEM).
Confidence ellipsoids for each solution help you determine valid sources.
SOURCE can be used with average data or with raw EEG data
files, and it permits integration of results with the subject's MRI, or with
a warped MRI data set. Source can be combined with the PCA/ICA program to
let you analyze independent components in the waveforms. Most important,
SOURCE provides rapid localization results and allows you
to view the cortical solutions calculated from your data, greatly enhancing
the information inherent in the data that you are already collecting. |

The QuikCell uses a new liquid electrolyte and cellulose based transmission
and control system, coupled with a calibrated electrolyte delivery system
for EEG electrode application. The QuikCell procedure ensures that valid
scalp electrode impedances can be obtained quickly and comfortably. This
system allows recording with high impedances, improved control of
salt-bridging and eliminates over-hydration and soaking of the subject. The
speed of QuikCell application reduces preparation time and increases subject
comfort without sacricificng the quality of data collection.
